Use the NHS App to Manage Your Appointments

The NHS is encouraging patients to use the NHS App to help reduce missed appointments and improve access to care.

Patients can use the app to:

  • Receive appointment reminders by turning on push notifications

  • Cancel or rearrange appointments if they are unable to attend

  • Order repeat prescriptions without contacting the practice

  • Track prescriptions to see when they are ready to collect

Missed appointments can prevent other patients from accessing care. By using the NHS App and cancelling appointments when they are no longer needed, patients can help ensure appointments are available for those who need them.

Patients can download the NHS App or update their notification settings in the app to stay on top of their healthcare.
